Peach Berry Milkshakes for a Cool Summer Treat

Need a cool treat for your kids to beat the heat AND get some fruit into them at the same time? These Peach Berry Milkshakes may be just the thing!

Frozen peaches and berries blend together with milk and low fat vanilla ice cream for a nutrition-packed sweet treat you can feel good about. Peaches pack in Vitamin A, while the berries bring the anthocyanins and Vitamin C. The milk and low-fat ice cream round it out with calcium, Vitamin D, and protein.

All you need, aside from the frozen fruit, milk, and vanilla ice cream, is a blender or food processor. Whirl away, and then you’ll all be sipping sweet heaven this summer. It’ll bring some serious smiles, which always helps to beat the heat!

Peach Berry Milkshakes -- Juggling With JuliaPeach Berry Milkshakes
Makes 2 large or 3 small servings

Prep time: 5 minutes     Cook time: Zero, zilch, nada

1 cup frozen peaches
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1 and 1/4 cup nonfat milk (or milk of choice)
1 cup light vanilla ice cream

Blend all ingredients together in a blender or food processor. Serve immediately. Garnish with peach slices or berries if desired.
