Honey Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip

Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip - juggling with juliaPeanut butter lovers, this one’s for you! This honey-laced peanut butter yogurt dip totally rocks in both taste and nutrition. So, get your favorite dippers ready, and don that rubber apron, ’cause you’re gonna want to dive right into its creamy, nutty  goodness.

Sploosh.

With just 4 ingredients, it’s also a snap to make. That’s clutch, right? Cuz sometimes you just need to have your Vitamin PB, like, right now.  Sure it’s easy to grab a spoon and head straight for the jar (hello, me). But, pull yourself together (seriously, pull yourself together, me) long enough to grab some Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla, and your favorite peanut butter gets a serious upgrade.

In addition to being packed with protein (nearly 30 grams!), what I especially love about this peanut butter yogurt dip is the minimal amount of sugar. The 2 tablespoons of honey you’re adding is the only sugar you’ll find. That is thanks to plain yogurt and natural peanut butter – no added sugars found there!

The honey adds plenty of sweetness, trust me. Also, be sure not to try to tuck your hair behind your ear while simultaneously measuring the honey.

You can trust me on that, too 🙂 Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip - juggling with juliaWhile this dip is totally party-worthy, it can jazz up your afternoon snack just as well. My pre-teen foodie model thought it paired nicely with 6th grade math 🙂Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip - juggling with julia

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey adjust to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk all 4 ingredients together. If desired, reserve a teaspoon of honey to drizzle over the top.

  2. Serve with various dippers, like apple slices, carrot and celery sticks, strawberries, bananas, whole grain crackers, pear slices, melon chunks, graham crackers, granola bars, fruit kabobs, etc...

  3. Store any leftover dip in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Recipe Notes

I prefer whole milk Greek yogurt, which I find much creamier and less sour than non-fat and low-fat yogurt.

This dip would also make for a great yogurt parfait with fruit and granola!
